"Designing is an integral part of who I am. For me, a tree is not just a tree, but a complicated and integrated network of branches and leaves which makes for an intriguing design subject. Inspiration comes from anywhere and everywhere, and while I travel often with the objective of immersing myself in exotic landscapes and architectural wonders, I am as in tune to the florid motifs of the Balinese temples as I am to the embossed studs on the iron gate that surrounds the flower garden a block away from my home."
